Guidelines for group purchase and group management


On this page you will find instructions on how to buy multiple courses, and how to manage your purchase of courses/allocate course rights via the Group Management.

What is the purpose of a group purchase?

  • When there is a need to buy an online first aid course for several people at a time in the workplace.
  • When the payer of the course is different from the person who completed the course.

What is the purpose of a group purchase?

  • Before adding an online course to your shopping cart, select a group instead of a single participant.
  • Tick the box if you also intend to attend the course yourself.
  • Choose how many participants you want to have (how many licences you will buy).
  • Choose a name for your group
    • You should use the name of the company or association as the group name, and add the name of the first aid course, for example (e.g. Uskalla Auttaa Oy - Emergency First Aid Course). This will make it easier to manage the course in the future, for example if you need to have more online first aid courses for your staff at a later stage.
  • When you buy more than four courses, you automatically get a discount on the checkout page.

What happens after the purchase

After your purchase, you will automatically be created a group with the name you entered. The group will be associated with the right to complete the online course you have purchased and will have a limited number of places according to your purchase. You can invite desired individuals (depending on the amount of licences purchased) and they will be automatically enrolled in to take the online course associated with that group.

Through the group manager, you can see the groups where you are the group leader (group leader = course buyer). A person other than the buyer can also act as group leader, but this requires a separate contact with our customer service.

Guidelines for group management

From the main group management page, select the group you want to view. You will be able to edit the group information, add users to your group and track their progress in the course.

How do you add people to your group?

  • You can easily add individual users from the "Add a new user" section.
    • When you add a new user, they will receive an email with instructions on how to access the course.
  • If you are adding several people and want to make your work easier, you can create a group code that allows the person to log in to the group themselves.

    • Provide the necessary people with a group code and ask them to sign up to your group on our website using the group code you created: www.uskallaauttaa.fi/liity

We recommend that you use as simple message as possible for the instructions, for example: 

Hi, our company has acquired the rights to the Basic First Aid online course. To register and complete the course, please go to www.uskallaauttaa.fi/liity. Follow the instructions there and when filling in the form on the page, use the following group code: code3847 (change the code to a group code you created yourself)
