First Aid Refresher course online
Complete First Aid refresher online course. Upon completion of the refresher course, you will receive a First Aid certificate, which will grant you a three (3) year extension to the qualification obtained from the previously completed Basic First Aid course or equivalent 16-hour First Aid course.
Choose between four or eight hours refresher course. The length of the course does not affect the amount of extra time granted.
Reform in the name of first aid training
Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Kela, Traficom, Tukes, the Finnish National Board of Education and other authorities will clarify the terms used in first aid training. In the future, first aid courses will be referred to as Emergency First Aid Course, Basic First Aid Course, First Aid Refresher course and Advanced First Aid Course instead of combinations of letters.The names of Uskalla Auttaa first aid courses have been changed to reflect the new guidance from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

The purpose of the refresher course is to continue the first aid qualification you have previously acquired without having to complete the course again. A previously acquired qualification can only be extended once through a refresher course in First Aid.

First aid certificate: yes, valid for 3 years
Delivery format: online course, at your own pace
The First Aid Refresher course can be completed at online in parts on your phone, tablet or computer, according to your own schedule. You can download the certificate immediately after completing the course.

I completed an online first aid course. The teaching material was excellent and each topic was covered in a very catchy way. The only downside, as with probably other online courses, was how difficult it was to find time out of my own free time to complete the course. Otherwise it was a very worthwhile and beneficial experience for me. So I would highly recommend!

It was a good online course. Nothing to complain about. The only thing my teacher said back in primary school was that you don't fall, you fall or fall down. Water drips. So the dripping was a bit of a problem. 😂

The combined first aid course was the perfect way for me to complete the course. The online material covered the theory comprehensively, and I was able to learn the most important things and practice the exercises smoothly on the next day. The instructor was also good!
An absolutely fantastic course! The videos were varied, clear and full of good humour, and were much more memorable than a single ea weekend. You can watch the videos at your own pace and repeat as necessary. The intermediate tests and practical exercises helped to structure what was learned. This was really useful, now I dare to help 😉
Due to stomach problems, I couldn't join the work team for the local EA training. I had to come up with a plan to still complete the same course at the same time. Thorough and clear presenters in the videos. Tips on what to do if you're alone and the food gets to you, came in handy as I'm on night shift on my own. The final exam is such that you have to concentrate on the videos if you want to pass the test. It doesn't help to "snooze".
A convenient way to organise a 16-hour course: first 8 hours of self-paced, remote, independent theoretical study, including text, video lectures and test questions. The second day of face-to-face teaching with exercises. You will definitely learn. Teachers with paramedic background, they have a good perspective.
