Baby CPR

  1. If your baby is unresponsive and does not respond to your presence and stimulation, call 112!
  2. Open the airway and assess the presence of breathing max. 10 seconds.
  3. If the baby is definitely not breathing, start CPR by giving five (5) rescue breaths.
  4. If the baby does not respond, continue CPR by alternating fifteen (15) compressions and two (2) rescue breaths.
  • Correct pressure point is at the lower part of the sternum
  • Compressions are applied with two thumbs / two fingers
  • Depth of compressions 4 cm
  • Allow the chest to recover between compressions
  • Compression rate 100-120 times per minute
